On the occasion of the 113th International Working Women's Day, a blood donation program was conducted at the college premises on 26 Falgun, 2079. The program was jointly organized by Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering, with technical support from the Nepal Red Cross Society's Bhaktapur branch, to meet the growing demand for blood and blood components. The event was jointly inaugurated by the principal of Khwopa Engineering College, Er. Sujan Maka and Vice-principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, Er. Ratna Shova Prajapati by donating their blood. Inspired by the spirit of humanitarian service, a total of 114 teachers, staff, and students donated their precious blood to the event. The Nepal Red Cross Society and the college distributed certificates of appreciation to the blood donors, recognizing their contribution to this noble cause.
At that event, the Nepal Red Cross Society distributed a certificate of appreciation to the college for organizing a blood donation campaign and for the college's humanitarian service work and Er. Sunil Duwal, Principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, thanked the Nepal Red Cross Society for accepting the request of the college on short notice and providing technical assistance to make the blood donation program a success.
