On 4th Shrawan 2082, the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering at Khwopa College of Engineering successfully hosted a guest lecture, delivered in a boot camp format, on the topic “Modern Software Engineering and Testing Practice in Nepal.” This session was organized as a key component of the Software Engineering course for BCT III/I students.
The lecture was conducted by Er. Dilip Rai, Senior Software Engineer at Fuse Machine Nepal, who provided in-depth insights into contemporary industry practices. The program featured hands-on coding exercises and practical demonstrations covering project management tools, manual testing, and end-to-end testing with Cypress. Students participated enthusiastically, benefiting from real-world engagement with the latest developments in software development and quality assurance.
Head of Department Er. Dinesh Gothe and Deputy Head of Department Er. Naresh Khatri were present during the closing session. To acknowledge his valuable contribution, HOD Er. Dinesh Gothe presented a token of love and a certificate of appreciation to the guest speaker, Er. Dilip Rai. The event was coordinated by Er. Anish Baral, subject teacher for Software Engineering, with active support from the department.
