Bhaktapur, 28 Shrawan, 2082 (Wednesday) — Professor Dr. Liu Yue-ming, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Communication at East China University of Technology, paid an observation visit on Wednesday, 28 Shrawan, 2082 to Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering, institutions run by Bhaktapur Municipality.
Professor Dr. Liu Yue-ming was warmly welcomed by the principals Er. Sujan Maka (Khwopa Engineering College) and Er. Sunil Duwal (Khwopa College of Engineering), along with Vice Principal Dr. Subegman Bijukchen, Vice Principal Er. Ratnashova Prajapati, and Head of the Administration, Mr. Sanjaya Manandhar.
The visit served as an opportunity to share insights about the colleges’ academic environment, infrastructure, and educational mission while exploring possibilities for future academic and cultural collaboration between the institutions.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the potential for collaboration and exchange between educational institutions, including the colleges and the Tribhuvan University Confucius Institute, as well as with the East China University of Technology.
The principals introduced the colleges run by Bhaktapur Municipality and highlighted their contributions to engineering education and human resource development in the country.
At the same time, Professor Liu Yue-ming expressed his happiness at being able to observe the educational institutions run by Bhaktapur Municipality on-site. Expressing his readiness to collaborate with the colleges, he noted that Chinese students are studying in schools in various countries and contributing to China’s social and economic progress.
As a gesture of goodwill, Mr. Sujan Maka presented Professor Liu with a token of appreciation, while Mr. Sunil Duwal gifted institutional publications to the esteemed guest.
The meeting was also attended by Chinese Language Instructor Mr. Rajendra Chawal and Dr. Balram Duwal.
