The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University (KU), visited Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) on Bhadra 9, 2082, to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The distinguished delegates included Dr. Kamal Chapagain, Graduate Program Coordinator, and Dr. Samundra Gurung, Undergraduate Program Coordinator, who shared insights into KU’s postgraduate opportunities and future prospects of collaborative research opportunities.
The primary objective of the visit was to provide detailed information about the Master’s programs at Kathmandu University, guiding prospective graduate students from Khwopa institutions, and to explore collaborative opportunities in academic and research domains between Kathmandu University, Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC), and Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE). The delegates highlighted how partnerships could enhance knowledge exchange, capacity building, and innovation in the fields of electrical, electronics, and communication engineering.
The meeting witnessed active participation from faculty members of the Department of Electronics, Communication and Automation, Khwopa Engineering College, and the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering, Khwopa College of Engineering.
